POSITION SUMMARY: ?
The Vice President, Retail Customer Sales will be responsible for customer experience, operational execution and sales oversight.? This position will provide strategic leadership for Pepsi Retail Sales.? They will lead, manage supervise, direct and motivate the existing sales team to achieve their sales objectives.? Includes setting/tracking sales goals, and assistance with sales to key accounts.
The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.
? ? Sets long ?term strategy and tactics. Acts as the primary voice in the in the creation of long-term sales strategy; ensures that managers are focused on the tactics to ensure it is supported in all their activities.
Develop and align all goals with the Annual Operating Plan.
Manages Sales Managers to ensure that they are properly managing the sales efforts to maximize sales and achieve long-term goals.
Educates, Mentors and Develops Sales Management team to enable a strong ?bench? for future promotion opportunities.
Develop higher level relationships with key brand retailers to create longer term views of retailer relationships and cultivate new relationships with key future partners.
Establishes and oversees a best in class sales operations organization.? Ensures that sales managers and sales teams are provided with all the tools and resources to be regarded as most effective in class.
Collaborates with Marketing to develop higher level key account activation plan strategy.
Works in close collaboration with various Parent Company sales, marketing & executive teams to develop, implement long and short term sales strategies.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:
? Bachelors Degree in related field and 10 ? 15+ years sales management experience.
Strong knowledge of beverage sales and retail business acumen.
Proven successful sales record.
Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency and well organized a must.
Demonstrated experience with building and maintaining relationships.
